Here are some resources to help you prepare for MATHCOUNTS and AMC competitions.

Websites

  • AOPS is a must-havelots of classes, textbooks, community, and resources; the hub for competitive math

  • Mathdash is the “new” AOPS; contests, handouts, problems, comparable to Codeforces for programming

  • Omegalearn is also really good, contains textbooks (kind of hard though), videos (very good explanations), and resources

  • Math with Ms. Lin is a must-have, containing almost every past MATHCOUNTS test from 2000-2017

  • TheBeautyOfMath contains guides for how to study and prepare, along with a lot of good explanations of math problems

  • Po-Shen Loh contains livestreams going over MATHCOUNTS problems of all levels

  • MATHCOUNTS Practice Plans has good videos and handouts, better for beginners

  • MATHCOUNTS Minis is also really good, great handouts, goes over state-level problems

Problem Trainers

Classes

  • AOPS Classes are paid, ideally take the subject math courses; contest prep courses are somewhat outdated

  • AOPS Alcumus is the best one, can change through lots of different topics

  • AMC Trivial is good for AMC 8 problems

  • SAAB is a bit old, and some of the problems are hard

  • MATHCOUNTS Trainer has problems with varying levels of MATHCOUNTS, NOT a little buggy
